Wolf and his sister Foxie were my introduction to this wonderful breed. They were the most wonderful companions and friends and endeared themselves to many.

Foxie died in 1995, and I still miss her terribly, and Wolf joined her in 1998, leaving an enormous hole in my life that will never be filled.

They say memories are golden
well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.

A million times I needed you,
a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
no one could ever fill.

If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.

Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.

I must not cry now that you're gone
your magic memories still live on.
The love you gave stands still so tall
so strong that it can never fall.
And in our caring I have forever
the days of joy we spent together.
A raindrop glistens in the light
your deep brown eyes are there so bright.
And should a breeze brush my cheek,
I remember you, so close to keep.
You're there, my love, in all I do
my life's still blessed with thoughts of you.
